
Fujairah, June 22nd / WAM / The first workshop of the executive team to develop the strategic plan for the Emirate of Fujairah 2026, which was announced at the launch ceremony of the Fujairah Government Excellence System last May, was launched today, as the plan aims to direct the emirate’s march towards a promising future at a pace based on creativity. His Excellency Dr. Sulaiman Al Kaabi, Director General of the Fujairah Government Excellence Program and General Supervisor of the “Fujairah Plan 2026,” emphasized that participatory action is the title of the work system during the next phase in the emirate, stressing that the project development methodology will focus on translating the vision of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi. The work team that will develop the strategic plan consists of representatives of 34 government agencies in the emirate, who will work as one team under the umbrella of the Fujairah government, to begin drawing courses of action according to a clear interactive methodology, and the main team will be supported by a group of sub-teams that include representatives of the private sector, the non-profit sector, and experts.
