H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, emphasized the importance of advancing the government work system, ensuring its integration across various vital sectors, and aligning it with the requirements of the comprehensive development transformation witnessed by the Emirate of Fujairah at all levels.
This came during His Highness’s attendance at the ceremony honoring the winners of the Fujairah Award for Outstanding Government Performance 2023, held by the Government of Fujairah at DoubleTree by Hilton Fujairah City. The event was attended by Sheikh Eng. Mohammed bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, Director General of Fujairah Digital Government, and H.E. Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications.
His Highness also highlighted the support and directives of H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, for the Fujairah Award for Outstanding Government Performance. The award contributes to empowering national talents, enhancing their competencies across all sectors in the emirate’s institutions, elevating government performance to the highest standards of quality and efficiency, and strengthening the foundations of Fujairah’s comprehensive development in all fields.
The ceremony was organized in implementation of the directives of H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi to honor distinguished government entities, outstanding employees, and pioneering government projects, in recognition of their efforts in promoting a culture of quality, innovation, and institutional excellence in the emirate. This comes within an integrated vision aimed at enhancing Fujairah’s competitiveness and developing its government work system.
In his speech during the ceremony, H.E. Mohammed Saeed Al Dhanhani, Director of the Amiri Diwan and Secretary-General of the Fujairah Government Excellence Program, stated that what is witnessed today is the result of collective work and constructive cooperation among various government entities in the emirate, which has produced inspiring success stories reflecting the spirit of excellence and responsibility in government work.
